CUET PG 2022 Registration Begins

CUET PG 2022 Registration: National Testing Agency (NTA), the official body responsible for conducting CUET PG 2022 exam, has initiated the application process for the same. The link to Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG 2022) application forms has been activated on the official websites: cuet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. Candidates desirous of applying for the exam can fill and submit the application forms on the aforementioned links. The deadline to apply for the exam is June 18, 2022.

Notably, the Chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC), M Jagadesh Kumar, had announced on May 19 that the CUET PG 2022 exam will be conducted in the month of July.

The CUET PG 2022 exam will be the gateway for candidates desirous of enrolling into postgraduate courses offered by 42 central universities of the country.

CUET PG 2022: Application Fee

The category-wise application fee required to be paid by the applicants has been mentioned below.

1. General category candidates: Rs 800 for up to three test papers and Rs 200 extra for appearing in additional test papers.
2. OBC-NCL/General-EWS candidates: Rs 600 for up to three test papers and Rs 150 per test paper for appearing in additional test papers.
3. SC/ST/Third gender category candidates: Candidates under this category will be required to pay Rs 550 as the application fee amount, while they will be charged Rs 150 extra per test paper.
4. PwBD category candidates: Rs 500 will be charged from PwBD category candidates, while they will have to pay Rs 150 for attempting additional test papers.

CUET PG 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: Age is no bar for the candidates applying for CUET PG 2022. However, they will be required to fulfill the age criteria for the university they wish to enroll into.

Educational qualification: Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline or are slated to appear in the equivalent examination stand eligible to apply for the exam.

CUET PG 2022: Exam details
 
The NTA has not yet announced the date for the conduct of the CUET PG 2022 exam. Hence, candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website of NTA for updates related to exam dates. The exam will be held as a Computer-based test and will take place in two slots.

Slot I will begin at 10 am and end at 12 pm, while the second slot of the exam will commence at 3 pm and conclude at 5 pm.

Candidates interested in applying for the exam must refer to the stepwise procedure mentioned below.

1. Go to the official website of CUET at cuet.nta.nic.in.
2. Register yourself on the website and proceed to fill the application form details such as academic qualifications, category details, copies of documents, certificates etc.
3. Next, pay the application fee in the online mode.
4. Submit all details and download the confirmation page.
5. Obtain its printout for future references.
