The application process for Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service (IES/ISS) Examinations 2022 is concluding today (April 26) by the Union Public Service Commission. Aspiring candidates can apply for the UPSC IES, ISS Exam 2022 from the official website of the Commission at upsc.gov.in. Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination.

UPSC is conducting the recruitment process to fill up a total of 24 posts in Indian Economic Services and 29 posts in Indian Statistical Services. Candidates will be shortlisted for appointment on the basis of their appointment in written examination and personality test.

UPSC IES ISS Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: 

Indian Statistical Service Examination – The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subjects or a Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a recognized University.

Indian Economic Service Examination – Candidate must have Degree in Engineering in relevant Engineering Discipline from a recognized University.

Age Limit: 21 to 30 years (age relaxation available).

Application Fee: Pay Examination fee through Debit/credit card or Net Banking or challan in any branch of SBI.
For GEN/OBC: 200/-       
For SC/ST/Female/PWD: No fee

How to Apply: All eligible and interested candidates can apply online from the official website of UPSC- upsc.gov.in from April 06 to April 26, 2022.

Selection Procedure: The selection will be done on the basis of:

1. Part I-Written examination carrying a maximum of 1000 marks in the subjects as shown below;

2. Viva voce of such candidates as may be called by the Commission carrying a maximum of 200 marks.
